Thomas the Train Cake
My son was turning 4 and totally obsessed with Thomas the Train so we had his party at the B & O Museum in Baltimore. It was by far one of the best parties we ever had! We enjoyed our party time in a rail car, then took a mile or so ride on a train and ended the day exploring the museum. Since I am not into trains I thought it would be pretty boring but was totally wrong! Since we had it in December they had a huge train garden display too. We all had a great time from ages 3-63!! I felt bad that I only made him a basic cake but he didn't mind and since I was working on a 3 tiered surprise birthday cake for my dad's party that was the next day I couldn't bare to take on more!

Rapunzel Tangled Cake
I adore my nieces and nephews so when my niece was turning 5 and wanted a princess castle cake I was very happy to make it. About a week before the party I touched base with her mom and found out she wanted not just a castle but Rapunzel's tower with Rapunzel in it, I was somewhat intimidated!! Some how I managed, although transporting it to Port Discovery in downtown Baltimore was very stressful! Everything is 100% edible except the figurines and the PVC through the center. This is by far my favorite cake to date.

Police Officer Cake
A very dear friend's husband was turning 40 and since he's a wonderful police officer with the city of Baltimore we used that as our theme for the cake. I also did some cake truffles for him!

Snow Tubing Birthday Cake
I made this snow tubing cake for a 10th birthday party. It's chocolate cake with American buttercream frosting, fondant people and trees, and a dust of powdered snow over top. Such a fun cake!!

Mickey Mouse Clubhouse Cake
I made this cake for my youngest son, Alexander's, 3rd birthday party. We went back and forth between Thomas the Train and Mickey Mouse Clubhouse but finally he decided on Mickey for this year's theme. The cake has 9" and 6" rounds covered in dark chocolate ganache and satin ice vanilla fondant. The 9" cake is double chocolate with chocolate cream cheese frosting and the 6" cake is very vanilla with cherry cream cheese filling.
The cupcakes are red velvet and strawberry with Mickey fondant toppers. The favors were dark chocolate Mickey Mouse pops. This is my 4th Mickey themed cake and every time I find something different to do and something new to love!
